Our Job Management System
With Prestige, gone are the days of paper job tickets, faxed quotes and wondering what time your engineer is going to arrive. We’ve invested in a bespoke job management system, which means we offer our service contract customers a superior level of service.
You’ll be able to log in to your own company branded portal at any time and from anywhere, through your PC, tablet or smartphone for instant access to the customer booking site.
Through the customer booking site, you can:
- Request new job bookings
- Check the estimated arrival time and status of existing jobs
- View historical information, including invoices and job sheets
Our job management system will send an alert to your phone or email you when the engineer is on their way. It will also confirm the estimated time they’ll get to your premises, saving you precious time waiting for them to arrive.
The servicing and inspection of any commercial catering equipment is vital. It’s an opportunity to make sure that components are in good working order and any potential problems are spotted before a loss of efficiency or breakdown. We’ll usually carry out a preventative maintenance visit every 6 to 12 months depending on the level of service you need.
We’ll carry out the servicing outlined in the schedule as well as any repairs, making sure you’re compliant and meeting regulatory standards. We’ll recommission the equipment as per the manufacturer’s instructions and offer advice and quotations for any recommended repairs.
Kitchen Equipment Asset Tagging
We’ll supply and fit asset tags for all your equipment as part of the preventative maintenance visit. Serial numbers and asset tags will be logged for each individual piece of equipment along with a condition report and any recommendations. We’ll also leave you with an asset list to keep on site, making it easier when you need to place a service call.
Our engineers will complete a full catering equipment audit report on everything under the contract, giving a detailed overview of all the service checks we’ve carried out.
This report is a great tool for managers and company owners as it gives an overview on how the equipment is being used by their employees.
We’ll be able to report details of any equipment that’s in poor condition or that hasn’t been maintained properly. The report also contains all relevant equipment documentation and asset lists along with identification numbers for all appliances.
Gas Safety Inspection report
Insurance companies will ask for proof that you have an up to date gas certificate (CP42) on the premises, so the gas safety inspection is an important part of the service. As Gas Safe registered engineers, we have to carry out strict checks set by The Gas Safety Register.
If you don’t have an up-to-date CP42 then potentially you’ll be uninsured with the health and safety of your employees and customers at risk. This can lead to prosecution under Regulation 35 of the “Duties of Employers and self-employed persons” of the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations.
Our engineers will check all gas appliances, pipework, extraction systems and gas interlock systems, giving you peace of mind that your equipment has been fully tested and is certified safe.
After the visit, the information from the kitchen equipment service is recorded on our systems and the documentation will be sent to you. If there’s any remedial work needed, we’ll send a detailed quote by email. We’ll also set up an alert for 30 days before the next service is due so we can contact you to arrange our next visit.
